Yep...I did it again...I blew off the blog...but this time I have an excuse! I had two really hard tests the next day and I could not waste my precious study time blogging......Ok, maybe I wasn't studying the WHOLE time.....Ok fine, I was trying to solve lateral-thinking puzzles presented by some dorm-mates....
But no matter, the blog shall move on, and by the days end I'll be caught up to Day 35.
Now for some lateral-thinking :)
...A father and son are both in a car accident. They are both taken to the ER and are placed in separate rooms. The Doctor comes in to the boy's room to perform surgery, when suddenly the doctor says "I cannot work on this boy, he is my son". What's going on?
First one to get it right gets an enthusiastic high-five from the HaufeCoffee himself!
Yesterday (erm, the day before yesterday), I introduced you guys to one of the greatest alternative bands of the 90's: The Goo Goo Dolls. I posted a number of their songs, but today I've saved the best for last: "Iris". Believe it or not, the song "Iris" was written for a movie: "The City of Angels" (a very very very very very very very very very very very very very VERY depressing movie.................did I mention it was very depressing?). However, its popularity has long since expanded past the bounds of the simple soundtrack...in fact, it holds the record for the longest time ever spent at the top of the Billboard 100 (18 weeks!). It's no wonder why I've recommended this song today for your listening entertainment :)
I shall blog more tonight, but in the meantime you should help that poor cat out with his Jenga tower ^...
G'evening Interwebs!

the two involved in the accident aren't related at all, is the solution my mind jumps to.
ReplyDeleteoh haufe, that riddle is /easy/. it's his mom.
ReplyDeletealso: iris = quite possibly one of the best songs EVER. <3 it! (if only my computer would PLAY any music...)
lol, thats the solution I came up with Will, but the actual answer is that the Doctor is his mom. Good job Becky and high fives to both of you guys for good answers *highfives*
