Day 26: I Can Tell That We Are Gonna Be Friends

Yup, that's another song lyric, and it also happens to be lyrics from today's musical recommendation, "We are Gonna Be Friends". Its a melodic guitar song I came across years ago, but only recently has it invaded the confines of my spastic mind. There are actually two versions: the original sung by The White Stripes, and the cover sung by Jack Johnson from his Curious George album. I've posted both for your listening pleasure :)

Today was rather uneventful aside from the geography duel I had with a Jamaican over a headset behind the scenes of a musical. Contrary to what he may think, I won (obviously), but he did put up a pretty good fight. His knowledge of Caribbean geography is astounding....I wonder why....

Oh yeah, last week for my birthday, I received a new flip cam! Its a neat camcorder device that many youtubers use to vlog (vlog = video blog I guess...). It can store up to two hours of footage on its own, and for the most part all of it is high quality.....pretty cool right? If you're afraid I'm gonna abandon this blog for a vlog or logeo or whatever, don't be. I mean, wouldn't it be a little wierd to carry a camera capturing your every move all day? I'm sure some things would probably turn out to be hilarious on camera, but others would be pointless. For example, watching me slip in this goddamn snow would be amusing, but watching me do one of those physics problems on flux and gauss' law might just make your brain implode :P

I'll sprinkle some clips from the flip here and there though if I deem them worthy of the HaufeCoffee award for excellence in hilarousity and randomism, so keep your eyes open.

Other than that, I'm fresh out of blogging power...
